An older article but still a go-to for me – In a study by Leonard Waverman, of the London Business School, it was discovered that for an extra 10 mobile phones per 100 people in a typical developing country, there is an additional 0.59 percentage points of growth in GDP per person. As a result, Professor Waverman has suggested a strong correlation between the increase in communication power and individual economic output.
